Virtual Print Fee

The Virtual Print fee (VPF) is a financial contribution from the film sudios / distributors towards the cost of converting existing cinemas to digital projection.

DCN chairman Michael Smith is negotiating with each of the DCI partner studios and local independent distributors a VPF agreement on behalf of Independent Cinemas across Australia, on behalf of both ICAA member and non ICAA cinemas.

Negotiations commenced in 2008 and are ongoing and confidential so further details cannot be posted on the web.
