Digital Conversion

The conversion from film to digital projection offers not only a new way to show movies to the public, but the first true opportunity for exhibitors to automate cinema operations with a new level of control over our programming.

A digital conversion involves installing a DCI 2k projector and a DCI 2k server as a minimum. However, for a small increase in budget enormous operational gains can be added to add to the use of Digital Projection Plant.

- a 3D system allows screening 3D films

- an e-Cinema player allows non DCI content to be played back through the 2k projector

- a TMS allows central control of the digital equipment, scheduling and distribution of shows

- a site server allows remote access for monitoring and online service assistance
